Lucy finished her Championship all owner-handled
at twelve months of age in just nine weekends with four major and two Best of Breed wins.
She began her specials campaign in late August of 2006 and was awarded 15 Best of Breeds and
a Group 2 before the end of the year, securing her invitation to Top Twenty at just 17 months
old.
In 2007, Lucy met Professional Handler, Mark Bettis. Lucy, Mark and Michaela Bettis made
a terrific team in the ring! Lucy was invited to DCA's Top Twenty for five consecutive years
(2006-2010) despite formidable Midwest competition. Lucy retired from the show ring at the end of
2010 with First Award of Excellence at the 2010 Eukanuba National Championship.
Why do we think Lucy's so irresistible? She makes us laugh. She's beautiful. She
wiggles. She's smart. She's pushy. She smiles. She's elegant. She snuggles. She's a lapdog.
She's sweet. She's adaptable. She is "Spot on the Standard" with her beautiful head,
distinctive type, and powerful, effortless and balanced movement. We think there is a lot to
