This young lady finished her Championship all owner-handled
at twelve months of age in just nine weekends with four major and two Best of Breed wins.
Lucy began her specials campaign in late August of 2006 and was awarded 15 Best
of Breeds and a Group 2 before the end of the year, securing her invitation to Top
Twenty at just 17 months old.
In 2007, Lucy met AKC Registered Handler, Mark Bettis, and they made a terrific
team in the ring! She finished as the #4 Dalmatian Bitch in Breed points - #8 overall, and
was ranked 7th in Eukanuba and 12th in All Breed points! Lucy and Mark were even broadcast
on ESPN in the group ring from Oklahoma City!
Lucy is exceedingly sweet-natured, adaptable, and the ultimate snuggler. Of course,
she is a Dalmatian, and therefore, can also be counted on to cause trouble if left to her
own devices! Teasing Cooper, Sidney and Mark's other dogs is her favorite pastime!
We think her best features are her lovely face and head, intelligent expression,
overall athletic yet graceful structure, smooth top line, strong front, flowing movement,
and easy-going temperament. There is a lot to love about Lucy!
