And we strongly encourage anyone buying a Dalmatian puppy to only buy from DCA members who do health testing and abide by our Ethical Guidelines.

About Us

We are dedicated to preserving the integrity of the Dalmatian standard - including temperament, structure, health, beauty and intelligence - through our limited breeding program. Our dogs are intentionally bred for predictable type and health. We hope many of our puppies will become conformation and performance champions, but our first priority is to find homes where they will be loved as companions above anything else! We provide a dedicated safety network to our puppy buyers, and will always take back a puppy we bred if the owner is ever unable to care for it. We pride ourselves on providing good mentorship for our puppy buyers.
We have always shared our lives with dogs, but have lived with Dalmatians since 1990. Our first boy, Odie, from a backyard breeder, turned out to be bilaterally deaf. Despite this, we fell in love with him and the breed for its adaptability, antics, intelligence, striking beauty, and loving nature. After we lost him in 2003, we acquired Cooper, our first show dog, from Centurion Dalmatians, and, in 2005, Lucy, co-bred by Anticipation and Volunteer Dalmatians. Lucy cemented our devotion to this breed.
We decided to breed and raise puppies in 2009 under the kennel name Juju. Lucy's daughter, Baili, now also shares our home, as did Raj, Baili's son, and now Rhani, Raj's daughter, and Jo Jo, Rhani's son.
We stumbled into the world of the American Kennel Club with Cooper and have never looked back!
Our passion is conformation showing but Dalmatians, due to their intelligence, devoted nature, and athletic abilities, make exceptional performance dogs - agility, barn hunt, scent work, dock diving, tracking, road trial, obedience, rally, coursing, herding, therapy dogs – you name it – Dals can do it all! We currently are not involved in these events, except Fast CAT (coursing) but have the utmost admiration for those who are!

We hope we have contributed to the breed through our puppies and through our involvement in the Dalmatian Club of America, the Dalmatian Club of America Foundation, and the Dalmatian Club of Greater St. Louis. Whether we have or not, we love our spots and look forward to what's next!
