We are Six Weeks Old Today!

Picture
That just puts a lump in my throat!  All of them have fantastic homes to go to, but I love them to pieces and am going to miss them so much.  Only two more weeks with them.  Enough of that!  On to how we celebrated our six week birthday!

Today we met a new family - the Haller's.  They think we are all cute too!  Since we turned 3 weeks old, we've met 40 different people and we liked them all!

Next we had lunch up on the screened porch in our fancy feeding stations that "Grandpa Dave" built for our Great Great Great Grandma Lucy's babies 11 years ago.  We liked everything about it!  We all ate from our own bowl for almost the whole meal and cleaned up all but a little of our food!  Then we ran all over the porch exploring all the dog beds, fire wood rack and ELECTRIC cords!  Imagine that!

Then we got weighed for our 6 week check in.  Maxwell, Jo Jo and Sadie all topped 9 pounds! Lizzy is close to 9 and Rita is still in the 6 pound range but continuing to gain and to live large through her personality if not her stature!

After a nap, some of our favorite people, Steven and Cindy came to visit!  Steven entertained us with funny sounds, creative play and swimming for Maxwell and Sadie who finally got their second turn in the pool.  Just look at how Maxwell mastered the stairs from the pool to the patio!

We are napping now, but who knows what else might happen after dark on the patio with Grandma tonight?!

We have lots of videos and photos from today thanks to our visitors (and even Grandma managed to get some!)  We'll start with our six week mug shots and go from there!  Enjoy!

Until next time....

I like to keep a diary of the puppies as much for myself as  for prospective puppy buyers and interested friends.  Sadly my blogs for Lucy's and Baili's litters are no longer available due to legacy systems, but I saved them off as pdf's and was reviewing them last night.  It was a good refresher on all kinds of things and brought back lots of good memories.  Looking forward to Imagine memories too!
